Full LP refund for AFK's is one of the best changes ever, why was it resisted so long?

Honestly, just the title. It feels so much better to have full loss forgiven especially given that a majority of the AFK's are people on new accounts that are tilt queuing and think they are better than every play in the game. I know hidden MMR is still influenced by the losses but the reality is that doesn't matter for most players at that simply playing at their MMR.

This change is like 10 years late and I wish Riot had done more changes like this one to keep veteran players around longer. Long time players of the game simply don't have time to waste losing LP to baby raging afk'ers.
