It follows a female lead who is possibly named Purple or Violet (I could be wrong), a powerful mafia or assassin heiress chosen by her grandfather to inherit their organization in another country. However, she had a car accident wherein the brakes didn't work, this causes her to lose her memory, erasing her past as a mafia heir. Her mother and sister are involved in hiding her from their family and concealing her true identity.

She is then brought to the Philippines by her mother to start a new life and lives as a normal student. In her new school, she meets a feared but solo gangster-type male lead, who has a terrifying reputation among students but becomes very gentle toward her. He falls in love with her first after seeing her, and one of their key early bonding moments happens under a tree in the school grounds, where their connection begins to develop.

As the story progresses, she eventually regains her memory in Book 1, slowly reconnecting her past identity with her current life. Meanwhile, her grandfather and a childhood friend, who is described as having a fiancé-like role, are searching for her. In Book 2, the emotional tone shifts significantly after the male lead is believed to have died, causing the female lead to become cold and detached as a result of her grief and trauma.
