I went 2 weeks without water with zero warning so I built a free outage tracker for Kenya

Last year water was cut in my area for 2 weeks straight. No notice, no warning, nothing from Nairobi Water. I was losing my mind trying to find out when it would be back.

So I built outageke — a free real-time power and water outage tracker for Kenya. It pulls live Kenya Power notices and lets residents report water outages in their area so your neighbors know what's happening before it catches them off guard.

It covers Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Kiambu and all 47 counties. No sign up, completely free, works on mobile.

Still early days but already getting reports from across Kenya. Would love feedback from fellow Kenyans — what would make it more useful for you?
