Is using more than one sick day for illness unprofessional?

callled out thursday afternoon when my baby got sent home with a fever from daycare. was out caring for him Friday too.

now that he’s feeling better, I am Down bad. fever, chills, lost my voice. that said, I was planning to send him to school and struggle through because that’s the precedent my workplace has set. multiple people have worked through worse.

why does it feel unprofessional to call out sick when I’m literally sick
