Dear itallians whats up with this televison shows ?

This is our 2nd time in italy( first one started with naples going south.now sicilly going north) and all the time we find itallian television shows charmingly cringy and amusing.like you have all those tv shop sales that we cant stop watching XD like in poland we had those in 90s and early 2ks but it seems in italy this types of shows are still very popular.is it like still popular with older audience? Or everyone ? Also a lot of singing.greetz from poland!
