lal saving wine in ewb ep7 (am i the only one?)

not to rain on everyone's parade but, to me, lal abandoning her work and enduring harsh conditions to save wine wasn't a romantic gesture or a green flag behaviour.

i saw comments and tweets that said: "lal rushing to save her woman", "lal being the greenest flag", "lal dropping everything for wine" and things like that. no.

i don't think it had anything to do with specifically Wine being in danger. she would've done the same for numnim or tangkwa.

it was the right thing to do, it was a woman helping another woman in a dangerous situation.

maybe it's because i've been in wine's shoes and so have the women in my life, and i know for a fact that even at the slightest risk of someone being harassed, they would all do what lal did, even for a person they hate.

it was a very powerful scene but not a romantic one.

i almost cried because i was rlly young and i wish someone had come to my rescue too.

them communicating only with their eyes wasn't romantic either.

it was a situation that had to be handled carefully to avoid further trouble. they couldn't have just started talking in front of him.

seeing wine's terrified face while her and lal were eye-talking, i never imagined ppl would find it romantic.
