Dashing while injured

So last month I broke my ankle and haven’t been able to dash. I’ve been non weight bearing in a cast and on crutches, and I’ve now been cleared for partial weight bearing with my cast, crutches and a cast shoe. I’m at the point where I can go short distances without the crutches. I’m getting really desperate for money and I’m considering dashing again. Any thoughts on how/if I should try dashing? Has anyone else ever dashed injured before?
