I just bought my first tea pot and didn’t realize it was unglazed. Can I make it work?

I just purchased this teapot from Musubi Kiln: Teapot

I didn’t realize that it’s not glazed and the recommendation that i’ve seen here is mostly to get glass/glazed pottery teapots.

I drink mostly green and black teas but have some blends and they are all flavored (essential oils, lavender, rose, lemon, etc.). I am new to tea so my loose leaf tea has come from Keats & Co and D&Tea.

Do I need to worry about accidentally seasoning my teapot? Or should I return it and buy a different one?
