Rog ally z1 extreme simple windows functions freezing

My rog has now decided that simple tasks like searching or opening task manager or file explorer takes 20 seconds or sometimes crashes windows and if I try to download a file through edge it doesn’t even try to start it, but runs games fine. Any help would be appreciated I don’t know what to try.
