is making notes in JC worth it..

im currently in J1 and im contemplating if I should continue writing notes for my subjects or just screw it and refer to the lecture notes and just start doing questions. especially for economics, right now my notes are just based on the content but I understand a large part of econs is the answering format. so am I supposed to make notes on that too.. its so tedious and im not sure if it is worth my time but the lecture notes are too long. and is it possible to score well for econs without tuition even though my school tr doesn't teach well at all, I need a super ultra master guide
