For most of the last two decades, the SpaceX trade was simple.

You either got access through private markets or you didn't.

Now the company has been public for a few days and the conversation already sounds different.

People aren't debating whether SpaceX belongs in portfolios.

They're debating how much of it they'll end up owning.

Index inclusion is being discussed. Passive inflows are being estimated. Retirement accounts will eventually pick up exposure automatically.

That's a pretty fast transition.

Most companies spend years moving from speculative growth story to core portfolio holding.

SpaceX seems to be trying to do both at the same time.

The thing I'm watching isn't the share price.

It's whether the infrastructure buildout behind AI, satellites, power systems and data centers keeps pulling capital toward the same handful of companies.

At the other end of that chain are the materials those systems need.

That's partly why I've been spending more time looking at copper names.

Nоvа Rеd caught my attention because it's approaching the problem from both directions. They're exploring for copper while building Meta lCore, a platform designed to organize and evaluate geological datasets.

If the next decade ends up being an infrastructure decade, the companies consuming resources and the companies trying to find them may end up being connected much more closely than the market assumes.

SpaceX went from impossible to own to impossible to ignore
