Am I okay to wear a gifted potli bag - as a south east asian?

Hi, I was gifted a potli bag from my coworker after she went on a trip to India. The bag is so beautiful and we are very close, I wanted to wear it to my wedding!

I am not Indian and wanted to get people's opinions on whether this would be okay - she's currently on maternity leave so I don't want to bother her :)

It might be a silly question but I'll be in lots of wedding photos and I don't want to look back on them and see I've culturally appropriated forever :(
