**I loved this vlog.**

We get to see rehearsals, different stage fits, choreography practice, and all the little moments in between. There is something really satisfying about watching a performance come together piece by piece — seeing him try different looks, work through different choreographies, move to the music, and gradually build the show before concert night.

I also always love hearing him speak naturally. I’m so used to hearing him in dramas and promotional appearances that these behind-the-scenes moments feel a little different. His voice is so much deeper and more velvety when he’s just chatting, and I love hearing more of his Beijing accent come through instead of the polished standard Mandarin we usually hear on screen.

We get to see him practicing, trying different stage fits, moving to the music, and working through different choreographies. The whole thing looks pretty badass.

We also get to see parts of concert night from behind the scenes, and the amount of activity happening around him is honestly insane. At some points there are so many people around him that all you can really see are hands and heads popping up from every direction. Someone is fixing something, someone is checking something, someone is getting him ready for the next set, and someone else is already preparing whatever comes after that.

Watching that honestly made me admire the crew just as much as the performance itself. A concert on this scale is such a massive group effort, and this vlog gives a glimpse of just how many people are working behind the scenes to make everything happen. At some points backstage, the sheer amount of hands and heads swarming around him is insane. Honestly, all you can see are hands and heads popping up everywhere. I admire the entire crew. What a great group effort.

We also get to see him returning backstage after the rain performance segment. If you’ve been following the community, you might remember that we previously shared part of that scenic dance performance that took place in the rain.

Seeing what happens immediately afterwards was fascinating.

He comes off stage absolutely drenched while people rush toward him with towels, and he’s visibly gasping for air from the effort. It really drives home just how physically demanding this concert is. Between the live singing, dancing, constant movement, quick costume changes, and then performing under pouring water, the amount of strength and stamina required is honestly impressive.

Maybe that’s part of why I enjoy these vlogs so much. The finished performance is amazing, but getting to see the work, preparation, teamwork, and sheer effort behind it makes me appreciate it even more.

The Studio caption reads:

*“Memories of Nanjing | About To Start”*

*“Where light and song merge and linger; every step forward leaves a lasting echo.”*
