New to property market

I have never bought anything before but I already hate every single real estate agent.

I got told today that there is no dip in the market in Sydney and he doesn’t know what I’m talking about? After I was honest and said the price of the house doesn’t match the market at the moment but we will wait to see if it drops to somewhere we are more comfortable with. He’s like “oh if your budget is that low you should look elsewhere” our true budget is 400k more but he doesn’t know that we just don’t want to overpay for a house.

Moron, can’t wait to be hit up in two weeks time to see if we are still interested in making an offer.
