On June 6, I completed the Beas Kund Trek with Trek The Himalayas, and it was a wonderful experience overall. I had previously done the Hampta Pass Trek, but none of my friends had ever been on a high-altitude trek before. We chose Beas Kund assuming it would be a relatively easy trek, but that wasn't entirely the case. While it is beginner-friendly compared to many Himalayan treks, it still requires a reasonable level of fitness and preparation. Without proper conditioning, completing the trek can be quite challenging.

The scenery was absolutely magnificent throughout the journey. The trail offers stunning views of majestic peaks such as Hanuman Tibba and Friendship Peak, along with beautiful alpine meadows, streams, and mountain landscapes. Reaching Beas Kund itself was a rewarding experience.

The food and overall trek management by Trek The Himalayas were good, and the trek leaders and support staff were helpful and professional. One of the best parts of the trek was meeting a great group of people along the way and sharing the experience with them.

Overall, Beas Kund is an excellent introduction to Himalayan trekking, but don't underestimate it. some preparation goes a long way. The views, the people, and the experience make it well worth the effort.
