With FH6 being so popular, I've seen tons of guides on tuning and a lot of beginners saying it's really confusing watching them because everyone has different advice. This is a given because everyone has a different driving style and are fond of different cars, some people don't play for the meta and instead go towards the more realistc side of building cars so ur tuning depends on YOU. Tuning doesn't depend on going to the tune browser and download "Fastest A Class" number 12,369 because if that tune doesn't work for YOU, you'll get frustrated. Maybe you like a car that's kind of loose on the rear so you can use slip angle to your advantage. Maybe you like a car thats sticky on the rear so on corners where the slip angle based car may lose speed due to a slide, you can stay on throttle. On drift cars, the car may be too agressive on throttle (even with modulation) so you could play with ARBs, Toe Angle, Camber, Aero, Gearing and even Tire Compounds to see how they affect the car, ultimately getting you to YOUR optimal tune. The CF Nissan Z Formula Drift car gets very mad and rear happy on throttle so I played with ARBs, Rear toe, Camber, and Aero, I then put Semi Slicks on with higher tire pressure on the rear and lower on the front and it was much more stable. There is no end all be all to tuning, cars drive differently and players do as well so play with the settings and see what you like (and no Im not saying you CAN'T download tunes, but it is worth exploring the tuning options because you may find that you're faster, when tune cars based on ur own preferences compared to another player's)
