Need advice how to bring a convo up
I’ve been seeing a guy for about 8 months. He’s very work-driven and travels a lot, so things have always developed quite slowly and organically.
We text pretty much every day and have seen each other over 15 times in the last 6 months. When we’re together, things are great, and there is both emotional and physical intimacy. We’ve never officially defined the relationship, but we’ve had conversations where he hinted that he isn’t talking to anyone else, and he’s asked me whether I’m talking to anyone else.
The thing is, he seems very slow when it comes to defining relationships. He’s warm, responsive, and consistent, but not particularly proactive about moving things to the next stage.
I’m not looking to pressure him or force a label. I just feel like I’ve reached a point where I need some clarity for my own mental health. I know I like him, and I don’t really see this as casual anymore.
Would it be better to bring this up in person or over text? And how would you approach it without making it feel like an ultimatum or a pressure-filled relationship talk?
