When you are a new player, completing the challenge ladder is a real challenge, because you don't have the rent to convert, and you often find that there are a lot of challenges to complete that are not readily available to you.

I had to create a new account on June 5th and have completed the ladder yesterday (14th). I thought it would be good to give some information that may help.

The key is that you have 9 (or in the USA 10) slots for challenges. If you complete a challenge, it will be replaced by another one. Not always a useful one, but there are enough. The key is having time to do them.

When the mini games happen, the first time in the month, you will have a challenge to play 10 games. This can usually be completed in 10-15 minutes, even without playing if you don't like the games, just start them and wait for them to complete and repeat that.

When the 10 games are completed, it will be replaced by a challenge for 15 games. With this you can complete two challenges in the first hour of the minigame.

The first few games in the month you will then usually get get a challenge for something else. You can then decide to focus on that, or just keep playing the minigame for a reward for the top 1500 players. Later in the month, if you keep up with the other challenges, you'll likely get one or more challenges for 20 games after the 15. These give an increasing number of points and I would recommend to make as much use of that as you have time for, because while the points rewards are relatively small, they are what will help to complete the ladder.

Where you can earn big points, is the surveys and arcade. For surveys, I recommend not doing too many outside the challenge ladder, as people have ran out of surveys when they needed them, so personally I only do surveys for the challenges. I just pick the shortest ones available, and even while a survey that indicates it's 2 minutes can sometimes take half an hour, it's still easy to complete 3 or 4 surveys in a reasonable amount of time. Arcade can take a bit longer, but if you are at a point where it takes too much time to reach the next reward, it can be good to pick a new game that has some rewards for low levels. There's no requirement to complete all rewards from any specific games, so just look for what you can do within the time you have.

For the boost challenges, if you have one going, keep boosting until it's completed. If there's no current challenge for boosts, let your boost run low but not run out until you are able to complete the next other challenge. If that is a minigame that starts in two days, and there are no other challenges available to you at that time, that's no problem, keep playing as normal, until the day of the minigame. Then only boost the minimum to stay boosted until the end of the minigame. So that if after completing the minigame challenge is completed a boost challenge appears, you can immediately start with multiple boosts.

If you look at the challenges I completed in the video, you will also see quite a few parcels bought. Now I completely understand that for most new players this is not that easy. I immediately signed up for the AEC and the premium challenge ladder and the extra AB for that help to buy the parcels, but I have plenty of tasks left that I would be able to complete before the month is over, as long as I am able to invest the time in it.

And yes, I am aware that the minigames are in different time zones and fit people's busy lives differently, or not at all, and that it is then a whole different story. There's plenty of complaint posts about that, so no reason to bring that up here. This post is just to show that as a new player, it is absolutely possible to complete the ladder.
