PSA: Don’t forget to replace your pump parts regularly
Noticing your pump’s suction getting weaker over time? I used to think my pump was dying, but turns out it’s usually just the parts wearing out. I checked Momcozy’s official care guide and figured I’d share what I learned:
Duckbill valve – swap every 2 months. If it doesn’t close tightly or looks worn, replace ASAP.
Diaphragm / membrane – every 3 months.
Speaker cover – if it looks white-ish or feels hard, time to replace. Otherwise it won’t seal well.
Hose – if any moisture gets inside, dry it out right away, otherwise hello mold.
I just set reminders on my phone to keep track.
Btw, Momcozy sells individual replacement parts on their flagship store, and prices are fair. Just double-check compatibility , e.g., S9 and S12 speaker covers aren’t the same.
Changing worn parts got my suction back up by 20%+ easily. Way cheaper than buying a whole new pump.
Hope this helps!
