noop Release: v3.9.0
Manage several WHOOP straps — and see what each band actually does.
This release makes NOOP a proper multi-device manager: if you own more than one WHOOP — a couple of 4.0s, a 5.0, or a mix — NOOP tells them apart and lets you manage each one. WHOOP stays the priority; this is additive and your existing setup is unchanged.
What's new
- Manage several WHOOP straps. Pair, switch, rename and remove each one from the Devices screen. Each strap is identified by its own Bluetooth identity, only one is ever active at a time, and your history is never mixed between devices.
- A guided "Add a device" wizard. It now asks what you're adding — WHOOP 5.0/MG, WHOOP 4.0, or a heart-rate strap — and gives the right pairing steps for that band (a 5/MG pairs differently from a 4.0). Coming-soon device types (Garmin, Amazfit/Zepp, Oura/Fitbit import) are shown on the roadmap.
- The Live screen links to Devices. The live console names the active band and has a Manage devices shortcut.
- Honest per-device capabilities. Each device card shows what that band captures and what NOOP uses it for — so a 5/MG showing steps while a 4.0 doesn't is obvious, and a heart-rate strap reads as live HR + Effort only. We also corrected misleading labels: no "Blood oxygen" where NOOP can't read an SpO₂ percentage off the strap (it never can — a real % only comes from a WHOOP CSV import), and skin temp / respiration are marked as the on-device estimates they are.
Cross-platform (iPhone, Mac, Android). The Android device database migrates cleanly from 3.8.0 (emulator-verified).
