Most of the living alone trend is fake

I'm not talking about everyone. Of course, if people buy things with their own money, they have every right to show them off. But I've noticed that many aesthetic creators make it seem like they're living alone in a different city and enjoying this super aesthetic, independent lifestyle.

In reality, many of them are living with their boyfriends or have moved in with them. That's completely their choice, and they don't owe anyone details about their relationships. But then why create the impression that they're completely on their own?

Young girls watching these videos may think these influencers are living independently and managing everything by themselves, when in reality they may have support from their families or partners, both emotionally and financially. A popular aesthetic creator from Kerala, for example, may be living with her boyfriend but presents her life as if she is living alone and handling everything by herself, even though she may have her boyfriend or family helping her with things like buying home supplies and other necessities.

For example, do you guys know Kikakim? I don't think she even had many friends in LA. It seemed like she was living with her boyfriend, but her content was presented as if she was living alone. She recently moved back to Kazakhstan.

Again, I'm not saying everyone is fake. I just think social media often sells a very curated version of independence and the so-called aesthetic lifestyle, which may not reflect reality.
