Has Anyone Reflected on Why Iblees is Referred to as “Shaytan” Instead of By Name?

This has been a thought in my mind for some time, but I just haven’t put in the time to do the analysis; so I’m wondering what you folks have understood, if you have looked into it. Looking forward to some interesting perspectives.
