Lost control of my body while AP then had a nightmare

First, let me say I know what I’m sharing sounds completely insane but I NEED to get this off my chest. I’ve never had an experience quite like this and I’m hesitant to share this with my bible thumping family. Some background info: I’ve always had intense, sometimes “prolific” dreams since I was younger. I’ve had a few dreams come to pass irl. It’s a generational gift passed thru my maternal side so I’m no stranger to the weird and strange.

Last night was an terrifying experience to say the least. I still don’t know what to think about it and I’m scared/want to cry when I think about it. I hope this is just a one off experience and it never happens again

I was sitting in my desk chair, meditating and doing breathing exercises before my shower. After a time, I shifted from just meditation to attempting to connect to my astral self. In my minds eye I imagined my astral self standing up from the chair and turning to look down at my body. I took a few steps before I felt the sensation of my jaw being opened. I snapped my eyes open but my jaw kept getting wider and wider. I tried to close it but my jaw had a strong sensation to open wider than possible (I have tmj). Well, my mouth stretched wide open and I heard my jaw hinge pop out of place and started shaking from the pressure. I then felt a sensation of my body being pulled forward and my back arched aganist the sensation. The entire time in my head I’m thinking “wtf wtf wtf, is this a stroke or am I having a psychotic break”. It felt like I didn’t have control over my body. I began having trouble breathing and started panting. After a few secs I finally was able to pull away and “snap” my body back into place. I ran downstairs and cuddled my cat 😭 omg it was scary.

After calming down, eating, talking with fam, showering, I went to bed. The dream I had was horrible:

I was sharing a bed with my sister in our bedroom but the backwall was missing. Instead of a wall, it led into a damn near pitch Black Forest. I noticed a man in the woods taking pictures of us and he was gradually getting closer. After I noticed him, he came inside the room and walked right next to the bed on my sisters side, still taking pictures. My sister didnt care and went to hide under the covers. He reached out and his 4 fingers were long and slender and had bulbous shaped tips. It was a shade of dark Forest green,almost black. I knew he wasn’t human, so I reached out to grab his head, as if to pull a mask off, but his skin and clothes just crumpled to the floor and I saw a small alien figure fall the floor and scurry away. I woke up screaming and scared everyone in the house 😅
