From tret 0.025 to taz 0.05 gel? Disaster?

I’m doing fine at the moment on 0.025 tret, I’ve been reading about taz and am wondering if it would be a disaster to start 0.05 taz gel? Or if I need to ease into it and be on 0.05 tret for a while first?

I’m in the UK and am taz already isn’t easy to get, and the only options I can find for is 0.05 gel or 0.1 cream! I like the idea of cream better but it doesn’t seem available in 0.05
