Seeking career guidance

Hi Everyone,

I started my career in 2016 through a campus placement at Accenture. I was trained as a Salesforce Developer and was assigned to a support project, where I worked for around two years.

In November 2018, I switched to Infosys. During my tenure at Infosys, I worked extensively on Salesforce projects. After my maternity break, I transitioned into Business Analyst and Testing roles as per management requirements.

Unfortunately, I was laid off in March 2026. After a three-month job search, I have received an offer for a Business Consultant role. At the moment, this is my only offer.

However, I am at a crossroads in my career and am unsure about the direction I should take going forward. My experience spans Salesforce development, support, business analysis, testing, stakeholder management, and project coordination. I also have exposure to Scrum Master and Project Management responsibilities, with the exception of budgeting and financial planning.

Given my background, I am trying to determine which career path would be the most suitable for me moving forward. Should I continue in the Business Consultant/Business Analyst space, move toward Project Management or Scrum Master roles, or focus on another direction within the Salesforce ecosystem?

I would greatly appreciate any guidance or suggestions based on your experience.
