Kicker Upgrade

Hello all. I'm looking to get the kicker upgrade from the GMC website. I have some points from my truck purchase and my wife's yukon.I have read a few posts about this but all were about systems without the bose audio setup. Will I notice a difference if I add this? Also is it worth having the dealership install this, even though I don't trust the local dealership? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
