XBOX Controller Issue

Hey guys.
I'm a new friend, switched just recently and I have some common sense when it comes to tech - but be gentle with me.

I wanted to ask about an issue I've encountered with the Xbox One Controller.
I've connected it with Bluetooth and it is registered / works.
But when I open a game to play (Final Fantasy Rebirth in this instance), the left analog stick should move me around and the settings are set properly.

Unfortunately, it just moves the camera, same as the right controller.

Did anyone have same/similar issue and can recommend some troubleshooting?
