Did Verb Ghost shampoo damage your hair?

Hello, did anyone have damage after using this shampoo and conditioner? I started using it after reading reviews and after the second bottle, I noticed my hair being weighed down and waxy. I immediately stopped using it, but after that noticed my hair breaking. I’ve been trying different treatments to stop the breakage and nothing seems to work. My hair is very dry and brittle. The only thing that seems to put moisture back in is olive oil lotion made for African hair. Has anyone experienced this and have a remedy to stop the breakage?
