Heating and vibration in scram 440.

Hey!!Need some clarification regarding few things.Today I had taken test ride of scram 440 from a RE dealership.Im confused with few things, riding comfort was great but dont know whether these issues were specific to that particular bike i had ridden

1. Bike was heating a lot, I could feel the heat from the engine in my legs.

2. I was getting vibrations from the tank.

Is this common for all the bikes.Need advice folks.
