Here are 4 mistakes I made that kept me stuck for months after my friendship breakup. (I wish somebody told me these sooner)

Mistake #1: Waiting for closure from her.

I kept replaying the last conversation, hoping she'd reach out and finally explain herself, but closure was never hers to give.

The only person who could give me that closure was me.

I had to be at peace accepting her silence as the final answer.

Mistake #2: Thinking missing her meant I needed her back.

I thought missing my ex-best friend meant I needed her back. But I was wrong.I just miss the memories, who i thought she was and what the friendship used to be.

You can miss someone and still know they weren't good for you. Missing her isn't a sign to go back. It was just my heart learning how to let go.

Mistake #3: Trying to figure out who I was by analyzing what went wrong.

I spent months replaying the friendship, looking for answers about myself. But you can't discover who you are by obsessing over someone who already walked away.

The more I focused on losing her, the more I lost myself.

Mistake #4: Believing her leaving meant something was wrong with me.

I thought if she could walk away so easily, I must've been hard to love. But people leaving don't dictate your value.

Sometimes they leave because they're meant to teach you something you couldn't learn any other way.

If you're struggling after a friendship breakup, this community is for you.

I share what genuinely helped me heal and speak about the things most people don't understand about losing a best friend. I hope it helps you feel a little less alone.
