25F [F4M] Michigan/USA - looking for a genuine connection

Hi! I’m 25, from Michigan, and currently studying Supply Chain & Operations. I’m pretty introverted, but I warm up with the right person and prefer getting to know someone naturally instead of rushing into things.

I like writing, reading, cooking, gardening, and fishkeeping. Right now I’m trying to keep my fish alive, keep my plants happy, and maybe eventually turn my messy time travel sci-fi ideas into an actual novel. I have ideas. The execution is where things get questionable.

I’m also into anime, horror movies/books/games, and music that’s usually somewhere around alternative, R&B, or rock. I like random deep conversations, calm people, and conversations that don’t feel forced.

I’m okay with starting off texting on Reddit or Discord, preferably Discord, and maybe doing voice calls eventually once we’re both comfortable. I’m not a constant texter, but I do enjoy good conversations when they happen. I can be quiet at first, but I open up more once I feel comfortable.

I’m hoping to meet someone preferably in Southeast Michigan, but I’m open to other states in the Eastern or Central time zones if we click. Ideally, I’m looking for someone around 23–30ish who wants something genuine and is okay with taking time to actually get to know each other.
