The Math is Mathing: A PPM Perspective

NSFWCommentary

TLDR: If I didn’t have a full plate, nor wanted an emotional connection, then POT 2 would be the clear choice money wise.

It’s your fave controversial SB here to always be candid about her sugar dating experiences while shedding light on the stigmas that don’t fit the requirements of what the loudest voices deem as sugar.

Today’s soapbox special is brought to you by allowances. I get why SBs favor allowances. PPMs can feel like escorting especially if the person offering it wants to see you multiple times a week. For the examples provided, this is very much the feeling I got from two POTs who contacted me.

I’ve established my personal range on PPM based on what I was offered before plastic surgery/officially rejoining the bowl, and the maximum amount I’ve received post surgery. My range is mid xxx - xxx. Anything lower than that and I wonder ‘why bother’. Anything higher than that and I’m really happy. According to the SB who slid into my DMs after I posted my profile review, I should be asking for low - mid xxxx. I live in a major city, not NYC/LA/SFO, and while rent can be expensive, an xxxx PPM seems excessive. I’m sure someone can get it, maybe even I can get it, if he’s a whale. The men I come across aren’t executives and have careers in tech, entertainment, or manufacturing. He’s the average guy who does well financially. I’m sure a lot of SBs would just deduce them to Splenda daddies.

POT 1: He contacted me on a sugar site. I didn’t initially respond because he’s not really my type and I got a weird vibe from him. He told me what he wanted. For my own amusement, I told him I wanted xxxx for my PPM. He asked if I was new 😂. He continued to message me despite this and told me that he was interested in meeting twice a week. With that in mind I asked for the high end of xxx range. He countered with xxx, a figure below the low end of my range. Prior to getting an actual number from him, I asked him twice what he’s offered in the past and both times he was vague. His offer would’ve resulted in a low xxxx allowance.

POT 2: He matched with me on a vanilla site and left a comment on one of my pics asking if I’d be interested in a mutually beneficial relationship. We moved off app and he told me that he has a high sex drive and would like to meet three times a week. He asked what I needed to make that happen. Again, I told him the high end of my range. He countered that the low end of my range was the max in his budget. Considering we stuck to 12 meets per month, that’d be mid xxxx.

POT 3: He contacted me on a sugar site and told me that he’s regularly in my area. He immediately brought up exclusivity and an allowance. I told him that I’m more familiar with PPM and asked what he offered his last SB. He gave me a figure on the high end of low xxxx. I’d have to see him about 7 times a month to hit the middle of my range per date. Otherwise, I’d end up getting more on average for each date.

POT SD: We met on a vanilla site and had a vanilla date. We transitioned to sugar when he hit me with the “It seems like you might need a sugar arrangement. Is that something you would be interested in?" line. We’ve only had one intimacy date so far but are planning the second. Since it’s still new, I don’t want to speak on it too much until more time has passed. He told me he offered mid xxx PPM, would like to meet weekly, and wants a SGF. With about three dates a month, I’d only end up with a low xxxx allowance.

In case you’re wondering, POT SD is my first pick. I like him, we have chemistry, and seem to be aligned on what we both want sugar wise. Even though upfront I’m getting the lowest ROI, I do believe he’s the type to be more generous over time. POT 1 and 2 are a definite no. The amount of time and energy spent meeting them multiple times a week, especially when I get the sense that all they truly want is sex, seems exhausting. If POT 3 decides he wants to meet and enter an arrangement, then I’d be in a pickle since both POT SD and POT 3 want exclusivity.
