The perfect time to banish Amazon would be now

So since the new "temu tax" is starting to show signs of its implementation even two weeks before its actual implementation one thing kept bothering me. Now there's no competitive alternative to the mainstream option; Amazon. Since this rule change was obviously lobbied for by this foreign company in order for it to establish monopoly, how about we give the double middle finger and banish its business practices outright? Their streaming service sucks anyhow with ads on paid subscription and their main business model is just some circlejerk community for dropshippers really. If we are to establish something local in order to protect EU interests, let's actually do that and stop relying on companies like these.
