Would you trust a vehicle with complete maintenance records over a newer one with less history?
I was discussing this with colleagues at Qingdao Alston Motors recently while reviewing inspection reports on used commercial vehicles.
A lot of buyers automatically assume newer means better, but we've seen older vehicles with complete service histories outperform newer vehicles that had little documentation.
If you had two options at roughly the same price:
Vehicle A: Older, higher mileage, complete maintenance records.
Vehicle B: Newer, lower mileage, limited service history.
Which would you choose and why?
I'm curious whether most buyers prioritize age and mileage or documented maintenance.
