How to get home free on SEPTA after France vs Iraq at the Linc

hey everyone, just figured id share a quick heads up for anyone heading to the france vs iraq world cup match at the linc on monday june 22 2026.

if you are trying to figure out your parking or transit situation, you should definitely check out prked first. it is an app where you can rent driveways or garages nearby from local hosts, which is honestly way cheaper and a lot safer than trying to deal with the stadium parking lot chaos. you get to book a guaranteed spot, skip the massive lines, and it is just way more convenient than paying crazy event parking fees.

but if you do decide to take public transit, there is some awesome news for the trip back. septa partnered up with airbnb to offer free rides home on the broad street line from nrg station after all the philly world cup matches, including this one.

the free rides start at halftime and run for two hours after the match ends. you do not even have to tap your card or pay the usual fare at the turnstiles on your way out, which is supposed to help move the crowds through the station way faster.

just keep in mind that regular fares still apply on your way to the stadium before kickoff, which is at 5 pm. septa will be running sports express trains every 10 minutes to help with the crowd, but it is still going to be super packed, so definitely try to leave early.

hope this helps!
