Hello all, I am very aware that it is incredibly difficult to identify artifacts when they are taken out of context like this but maybe someone have some theories anyways.

I have received these beads from a family member. They have been passed down in my family from my great great grandfather who recieved them on three necklaces to pass down to his son's. I've been told they are from ancient Mesopotamia and was given to my great great grandfather by a very famous Danish archeologist named Peter Glob.

Now elephant in the room, my family should DEFINITELY not have these, but apparently people just gave away stuff like this Willy nilly back in the day.

Now to my question is there any possibility these are actually legit? I have doubts that these have survived for more than 4000 years, and some of them just don't look that... Old? I tried some googling but honestly I have no idea where to start.

I'm no geologist but have an interest in rocks and I'm fairly sure the reddish stones are agates, but the bright blue one looks almost fake... Maybe it's aquamarine? The clear larger rock has carvings in it, small x'es and almost a scale like pattern and it looks like quartz but has these opalescent parts when you turn it. I don't know how well it shows up on the picture.

Any help is appreciated and let me know if I need some better or more close up pictures.
