Why are weather apps still so inconsistent

Three apps on my phone, all showing different temperatures for the same place right now. not slightly different. one says 18, one says 23, one says 21. it's one location, it has one temperature.

asked someone at work what the weather was like outside and that was more accurate than any of them.

genuinely not sure what the data is doing between the satellite and my screen but something is going wrong somewhere
