Is signing on at 28-30 too late?

I've been thinking to sign on under the EWOS scheme under a combat vocation but unsure whether if it is even worth it at all considering my age and the progression. So I imagine it would be a lot slower than the expected age to sign on.

Of course many things are already off the table for me, like going through Ranger course or SF course (heard to progress further in your career as a combatant you have to go through that) so is it still worth it at all?

I'm someone who's physically active, always considered to work in the sports industry but my interest in the military has since grown over the years.

Thoughts?
