I was 🤏 this close to crashing out today

I picked up a high school sub job and this morning I checked Frontline to look at the teacher I was covering for. Suddenly the school wasn't on my schedule anymore.

I thought, "Okay, Frontline is being Frontline again." So I found the job and picked it up again while I was already in the car on the way to the school.

I checked my email. Nothing. No cancellation. No call. No notification. So I thought everything was fine.

I get to the school, walk into the main office, ask for the sign-in sheet and the receptionist says, "There's no subs today, I'm the one that dropped you."

EXCUSE ME? 😭

I said, "What do you mean? Why didn't I get a phone call?"

This lady looked me dead in my face and said, "I didn't think you would want me calling you at 2 a.m."

Ma'am YES??? 😭 I would've loved a 2 a.m. phone call if it meant not paying for a ride to get here and another ride to go back home.

Then she says, "Sorry... maybe you can pick up a job at the middle school or elementary school."

I rolled my eyes so hard I'm surprised they didn't dropped out of my head 

At this point I'm pissed, but not stupid. I still wanted to get paid today. So I called the school to remove me from the schedule again so I could pick up another job.

Suddenly this lady grows a conscience and calls me back saying I could still come in because she felt bad and thought I would've received a notification after she dropped me.

Since I was only like two minutes away, I told my driver to turn around.

Y'all...

This woman brought me back just to place me in a corner doing bathroom duty.

So after all of that chaos I basically became the Guardian of the Restrooms 🚽😭

Thank God this is my last day at this school.
