Hello and welcome to my problem. I dont know if this is the right place to ask this but I literally dont use Reddit at all.

So the issue, I had a bad disk drive the gears were sliding around for the laser and the arms to help push out the disk were getting stuck. I have purchased a new disk drive and installed it YAY. I had installed it and it worked and I was so happy I booted up Super mario galaxy and let it run on just the start page for about two hours as I wanted to make sure it didn’t overheat or have and playback issues and it worked perfectly I was able to eject the disk and then went to bed. I turned on my wii today and put in a game then wanted to play a different game, I tried to eject the game…. no dice. I power cycled the wii then it ejected the disk and I thought, hu weird then put in zelda to play that… then I heard the “click of death” and immediately hated that this was happening again. I fiddled around with it for a bit then took it to my bench and took it apart and then I cleaned the lens as prescribed by google and tried it then and this is where it got me. I will say the disk did not spin before I cleaned the lens, after it kinda did I will add videos. Sorry for the long text but I want to cover my bases as I am hoping that I will get a few replies when I am at work tomorrow.
Thank you all I might take a peek at the comments if any, tomorrow on a break.
Thank you for anyone who can help me and my girlfriend love playing on the wii and we even named him “Little Dude”.
Thany you all.
