I built a free app so you can see your friends' bookshelves and borrow from them. I would love feedback from real readers

Some of my favorite books came from a friend saying, "You have to read this, take it." But I never knew what my friends owned, and they never knew what I had. You'd have to ask, wait, hope they remembered.

So I built ShelfLog. You add your books, your friends add theirs, and suddenly you can browse each other's shelves and request a borrow directly through the app. No more "wait, who told me they had that?" No more forgotten loans.

There's also a wishlist so your friends can see what you're looking for, and a scan feature so building your library takes minutes, not hours.

I'm not a professional developer. I just got frustrated enough to learn.

It's free on iOS. Android is currently in beta on Google Play — if you want in, drop your email in the comments or DM me and I'll add you.

Would love honest feedback from people who actually care about their books. What's missing? What would make this part of how you actually share books with people?

iOS: search "ShelfLog" in the App Store, or find it at myshelflog.com.
