Can Persona 6 live up to the hype? Does it need to?

I've been asking myself how P6 could ever surpass P5, then I started wondering what that means. All Persona games have great UI, they've all had great stories, and despite the accolades for 5, plenty of people still prefer 3 and 4. So I guess ny question is, does P6 have big shoes to fill, or are we going to be happy as long as it's a good game?​
