Things I stopped doing that actually improved my reach
Posting on a strict schedule regardless of content quality. Chasing trending audio before understanding my retention curve. Optimizing captions and hashtags while my hook was losing most viewers in the first 3 seconds.
The embarrassing part is I was treating symptoms while ignoring the actual problem. Once I started diagnosing at the frame level, what second viewers dropped, why, what the video looked like at that moment everything else started making more sense. Most of my growth came from subtraction, not addition.
What's something you stopped doing that made a real difference?
