Crazy dreams making me feel exhausted!

Firstly does anybody get crazy dreams on this? For context, I have been on 5mg once a day for around a year and recently upped my dose to 5mg twice a day around 2-3 weeks ago.

I've always had fairly vivid dreams, but nothing like this. I noticed a slight jump when I started on Buspirone, but now I've jumped up, I'm having at least 2 or 3 vivid memorable dreams a night! I'm sleeping like 10 hours a night and still waking up absolutely exhausted. Even if I sleep 7 or 8 hours I feel exhausted. I went to bed late last night around 3/4am, and it is now 2pm and I have just wasted the day. Even worse is that I am supposed to wake up very early tomorrow for a longggg day trip hike.

I just can't seem to get up once I wake up from the dreams I'm just too tired! It's like my brain can't get any rest from these crazy dreams lol. The dreams aren't bad either! I haven't had a single bad dream for as long as I can remember now. Just wild and intense dreams about nothing particularly special lol.

Did anyone else experience this when they upped their meds? Did it go away? I do love how vivid the dreams are but I fear it is massively affecting my sleep quality.
