180 LSAT, 3.77 GPA but no legal internships/work experience.
Hi all,
I recently graduated from a small liberal arts school in Georgia and am 26. I graduated late because I've been running a family buisness full time and had to manage class loads
My GPA should be higher than a 3.77, but I received 6 credit hours worth of Fs in kayaking and Student Orientation (missed finals worth most of the class grade for both).
I was president of my schools Model United Nations club and won a few awards doing this. I also was involved in the Young Democratic Socialists of America and organized Palestinian solidarity events in this capacity.
My obligations to the family business meant this was basically all I did though. No other accomplishments other than Dean's List.
My demographic background is that my father is a White South African immigrant who is in the military, and my mother is a low income North Georgia hillbilly. I'm engaged to a Desi woman and have some volunteer experience with a Pakistani immigrant group through her as well.
My LSAT score was a 180
Do I have a shot at T14 or should I focus on local schools in the Top 50 like Alabama, Emory or Ole Miss?
