Which developer roles do you think are least impacted ?
I keep hearing from some product managers, business analysts, and QAs that developers will be the first group heavily impacted by AI. 😄

What do you think? Which developer roles are likely to be less affected?

My view is that developers with strong business domain knowledge along with solid technical skills will continue to be valuable. Understanding complex business processes, making architecture decisions, and solving domain-specific problems seems much harder to replace than just writing code.

I've also noticed that people working on niche or highly specialized products, where knowledge is concentrated within a small group, seem relatively safer too—although I don't think that's a healthy or professional way to create job security.

What's your take? Which developer roles do you think are the most AI-resistant over the next 5–10 years, and why?
