SceneStack started because every time my friends and I met up, the conversation went: "what have you watched lately?" and we'd all have rough lists in different apps with no way to compare or share.

The existing apps are either built around public reviews or just a basic list. None of them let you log who you watched something with, control who sees what, or search your history in plain English.

So I built one. It's live on iOS, Android, and web. Free to use, premium unlocks AI features.

What it does:

- Log films and shows with ratings, personal notes, date, location (cinema/home/other), and who you watched with
- Groups: create a group with friends, share your watches, compare ratings, get recommendations for films nobody in the group has seen yet
- Privacy controls: Each watch can be private, group-only, or public
- AI-powered natural language search through your history ("films I watched at the cinema this year rated above 7")
- Group recommendations: films nobody in the group has seen yet, based on everyone's combined history
- Stats and viewing patterns
