The trolley problem
Do you guys agree with Ruth's philosophy regarding the trolley problem? Just to remind people of what she said: Ruth believes life is beautiful despite how horrible it is. A group of people getting killed by a rampaging trolley is a tragedy but a part of life. Pulling the lever is choosing to kill someone, which she feels is inherently wrong even if it would save a group of people.
How do you feel about her reasoning as she explained it?
