Jones Fracture Repair Pain 4 years later

Good Morning Y’all
About 4 years ago I broke my left foot and it required surgery. About 8 weeks after surgery it was discovered I had a nonunion and I needed another surgery to remove the screw from the first and replace it with a plate. 2 years after that I broke my right foot in the EXACT same way and now I have a plate in both. But now it’s a long time out from both surgeries and I’m starting to have pain in my surgical sites. I’m trying to schedule with my surgeon to have him take a look, but i really can’t take the time off work or afford 2 more surgeries to remove the hardware. Have any of y’all had to deal with hardware pain? And if so were there any conservative options that helped you avoid surgery? Thank you in advance :)
