Was Big Pussy feeding a bunch of bullshit to Skip Lipari?

Early in the season, Pussy tells Skip that he hasn't talked to Tony yet about getting back in, even though he already talked to Tony earlier that morning.

Later on, in the party store, Pussy told Skip that the executive game was going to Ray Curto since Uncle Jun was out of commission. If Ray was already a collaborator at that time, the FBI would have known that it was bullshit.
